Basic terminal commands

Navigate, copy, search.

1. Where am I, what does this folder contain:

   pwd
   ls -lah

   Copy
2. Move around, create, copy, move:

   cd ~/Documents
   mkdir projets
   cp -r projets projets-copie
   mv projets-copie archive

   Copy
3. Search in files and by name:

   grep -rn "mot" .
   find . -name "*.pdf"

   Copy
4. Read a file or follow a log:

   less fichier.txt
   tail -f /var/log/syslog

   Copy
5. Get help:

   man ls
   ls --help
