Back up your data (3-2-1 rule)

Three copies, two media, one off-site.

1. Settings → Accounts → Windows Backup: enable folder backup to OneDrive if you wish.
2. Plug in an external drive and use "File History" (Control Panel) for a versioned backup.
3. For a manual mirror copy with robocopy:

   robocopy "C:\Users\Moi\Documents" "D:\Backup\Documents" /MIR /R:2 /W:5

   Copy
4. Keep a copy away from home (encrypted cloud or a drive at a relative's).
5. Regularly test restoring a file.
