Create a restore point before a risky change
Roll back easily after a driver or program causes trouble.
- Open "Create a restore point" from Windows search.
- Select drive C: then "Configure" and turn on system protection (a few GB is enough).
- Click "Create", give it a clear name (e.g. "Before graphics driver") and confirm.
- The same in administrator PowerShell:
Checkpoint-Computer -Description "Avant installation" -RestorePointType MODIFY_SETTINGS
- To roll back: "System Restore" in the same window, then choose the point.
