Repair Windows with DISM and SFC

Fix corrupted system files without reinstalling.

1. Open Terminal (Windows PowerShell) as administrator: right-click Start → Terminal (admin).
2. First repair the system image (needs Internet, can take 10–20 min):

   DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

   Copy
3. Then check and repair protected files:

   sfc /scannow

   Copy
4. Restart. If SFC reports files it cannot repair, run DISM then SFC a second time.
