Install and update your software with winget

The package manager built into Windows 10/11.

1. Search for software:

   winget search vlc

   Copy
2. Install it:

   winget install VideoLAN.VLC

   Copy
3. Update everything at once:

   winget upgrade --all

   Copy
4. Export the list of your apps to reinstall them on another PC:

   winget export -o apps.json

   Copy
5. On the new PC:

   winget import -i apps.json

   Copy
